It was 2011, when a coworker and I tried to get a large cable reel into our street-level office space, the kind you sometimes see on the roadside, but not quite that big. Big though it was, it couldn't get there without removing the front door. That was our first experience with the fact that the availability of suitable and adaptable spaces of the right size was non-existent. And perhaps the final touch to the "snake" of more than ten years was when our daughters lived in the same small room in an apartment building, the closet space was negligible, and the cage storage wasn't really big enough, so something had to be changed.

I had to find a place that was easily accessible 24 hours a day and where I could store any machines smaller than a car if necessary. I found several facilities, but some had limited opening hours. Many were too big and valuable. And the problem with the smaller ones was that the ones that could be reached directly by car were non-existent. As a cybersecurity professional, I also found the padlock solutions in some places questionable.

Well, we had to come up with something, so we took pens and paper and got to work with ironclad professionals. And finally, after a few tricky twists and turns and a bigger mistake that I now fondly remember, the Multipurpose Spaces are now ready. (We've been trying to think of a name for these spaces, since they're not just warehouses, but they're not really all garages either, so we're calling them multipurpose spaces, which perhaps better describes the space's multi-purpose capabilities:)

Our space is a potential tool in your toolbox, designed to solve practical challenges in your life. It may help you save resources, time and nerves. Make trying or doing something easier and with a lower threshold. We cannot give a full guarantee for that, but it gives you the opportunity. Our spaces are clean and safe, of course, but they are not just beautiful walls. They are created to support you in everyday life and trying.
